The founder
Papa Youssoupha DIOP
Founder and Managing Director of 5/Sync IT
A consultant and project manager, Papa Youssoupha DIOP helps businesses and institutions design and deliver their IT projects. As head of Dakar-based 5/Sync IT, he combines technical expertise with first-hand field knowledge to offer solutions suited to the needs and resources of each organisation.
His experience spans network and systems infrastructure, virtualisation, IT security and business application development. He also works on document management, digitisation and archive enhancement projects, with particular attention to equipment reliability and service continuity.
His assignments have taken him to organisations in Senegal and several other African countries, including Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He works with private companies as well as local authorities and public institutions.
Training and knowledge transfer are central to his approach. Beyond the technical roll-out, he makes sure teams can take ownership of their tools and use them for the long term.
